Sean Caisse

Here we go again, another new driver that Andy is praising. Just wondering Andy, when are you going to change your tune on this guy?

Only drivers Andy likes are allowed to drive aggressively. If he doesnt like them they are bad for the sport and have no business in the Cup series.

Brian Vickers has 1 win.

And I defended his ass at Daytona.

Alot of drivers only have 1 win. Alot have none. This wasnt even about Vickers, just stating your obvious mentality.

Vickers has alot of talent, he makes mistakes, all drivers do. He has been unlucky at times, his pit crew(despite performing good at the All Star challenge) are alot of times awful on race day. Vickers spent his first 3 years in the #25 Hendrick car that Hendrick hadn't cared about for years and didn't care about until it became the #88. In his rookie year, he drove the car to a 25th place standing in the points, the next 2 years he had it in the top 20 both years...with a team that was an afterthought to HMS. He jumped to a startup Red Bull team, took that team to a top 20 points finish in its 2nd full year and is a mere 131 points out of the Chase at this point this year despite a mountain of bad luck. I dont know what your beef is with Vickers, I honestly dont. Did he ignore you when you asked for an autograph?

No beef... I just think he sucks. :idunno:

And you have no logical backup to that position.

He was in the best equipment for years. Every one of his teammates was winning races and contending every week while Vickers was just being Brian Vickers and finishing 20th. Heck, even Casey Mears got one win in the #25 car.

a little aggressive is an under statement.
I know.

Like I said, hopefully with the aide of Cup Series veterans, he'll learn to control himself. I've only seen him in ARCA, and ARCA races usually involve bumpers. Justin Lofton tried the bump-and-run on a superspeedway.

He's very aggressive, and his mouth hasn't always helped him. But Sean's a good guy and a very good driver. I only hope for good things for him.

Calling the 25 the best equipment? Thats laughable. HMS put as little effort into that team as humanly possible.

Casey Mears had the same poor results in the 25 car as he did in the 5 car (which has been a championship contending team with the Wild Thing and the old man). He then went to a Childress team that made the Chase two years in a row and has done jack and ****.

Brian Vickers? He's still done nothing. Yeah, he won a restrictor plate race. I guess that makes Brian as great as: Jimmy Spencer, Phil Parsons, Bobby Hillin, Ron Bouchard, Michael Waltrip and Greg Sacks.

All the whining you people do about Kyle Busch... the only win Brian Vickers got, he wrecked his own teammate to get it (whether intentional or not). Oh, and he won the Winston Open once... so have Michael Waltrip, Sideways Sam, Scott Riggs, Johnny Benson, Steve Park, Todd Bodine, Jimmy Spencer and Dick Trickle.

Yeah i guess that proves that the #25 was a great car, it was able to beat those guys in a fuel milage race

Junyer made the Chase last year, in the same team (minus CC) Vickers had. I guess Junyer really is the greatest!

You dont think that once Jr. got on board they decided to put some effort into the team, just maybe?

Casey Mears had the same results in the 5 car as he had in the 25 car. Mears hasn't done any better in the 07, and did no better in the 41. The Old Man's won 2 races in one of those cars this year.

Obviously, the equipment Mears and Vickers were in is just as good as the #07 (a team that made the Chase last year) and the #5 team which has 2 wins this year.

The problem was the driver, not the equipment. Vickers is overrated, always has been.

That's not what Brian told me! So there! :D Brian's been doing a decent job. Plus, he was giving me all his notes here. ;)
