BEAVER DAM, Wis. - Tim Shaffer captured his first win of the season after he turned in a flag-to-flag performance in the World of Outlaws A-Feature on Saturday night at Powercom Park Raceway.

"We finally got one! We had a good car all night long," said Shaffer. "We had a good car the last time here—I just had to use a little patience and not do anything stupid this time. It’s been a battle all season long, but these Kistler Mopar engines have been running strong all year. The competition out here is just so tough—it’ll beat you down in a hurry. I want to thank Lonnie Parsons (who won his first A-feature as a car owner), Casey’s General Stores, Housby Mack, it’s just good to get a win and get the confidence back up."

It was exciting! (It was my 1st WoO race!) :bounce: Also got Steve Kinser's autograph after the race! :D

Powercom is an excellent facility. I've been there two other times, once about six years ago to watch Tony Stewart & Kenny Schrader in the Hav-a-Tampa's and the other time to watch Powercom's regular sprint feature.

Glad you enjoyed it... You should make it a habit.... Steve Kinser is great. He will stay by his trailer until all of his fans are taken care of.
