Dang rain nearly washed me off the hill up in Palestine. Didn't want to chance driving back yesterday.

nascarwoman, if it weren't for the fact that the house is on a hill, I would build an ark. It was unbelievable how much rain came down Thursday and Friday. The creeks around Palestine are flooded. The Trinity River was just about to go out of it's banks. All the way home, any low spot had been turned into a lake, or a river.

Gollum, sorry you're on the receiving end of all this rain. But I'm sure glad it's gone.

Thank goodness, it didn't seem to hit Houston as hard. All was well with the house here in town. *whew*
