I for one was shocked that Coach Davis chose Holcomb over Couch. I am one of only a few Browns fans that was rooting for Couch.
 
hey at least you have two good qb's. YO u dont have to worry about Quincy Carter and the baseball player(I can never remember his name...) I'm sure most cowboys fans, and bill parcells, would like to have a real qb like couch. What do you think it would take in a trade to get him?
 
1st round pick or maybe a second and a third. You would also be taking on the forth highest salary in the NFL, and Couch is not the forth best qb, let alone the forth best player.

Jerry and him could renegotiate his deal, or clevland could pick up some of the cash, and couch is so much better than quincy

Couch isnt worth a "Hill of Beans"!!! Where did he take them last year? Nowhere!!!! The coach picked the best one, and I saw the preseason game; Couch got showed UP!!!!!

DirtyMo, that would be Chad Hutchinson. What did you think of Romo the other nite?
 
Not shocked at all. If you see the other thread I started about this you will see that I was a little surprised that they chose Holcolm, but not shocked. Kelly definitely outplayed Couch this pre-season and he really does have a better arm and is more aggresive than Couch. Kelly scares me a little in that he doesn't always make the right decision and throws the ball up for grabs too much. But, we will see.
 
Well, Cleveland is going to have a 6 million dollar backup QB. This is a wrong move, Couch is clearly their Quarterback of the future and at this point with the schedule the Browns will go through, itd be best to put their best player on the starting spot.

i knew his name started with a c...

I wasn't able to see the game, but from what i heard, the president of the Jeremy Shockey fanclub was pretty frustrated, and the offense did squat. I liked that in mini-camp he made the top draft pick get him water.

Try to trade him? Somebody will need a starting QB that is proven. Wasn't it Holcomb that was tearing up the Packers defense on Friday? Was half-heartly listening to the game on the way to Michigan...& lost the signal when we got into Indiana.
