Not saying to blatantly put Tony in the wall, but I bet the other 5 Roush drivers will race Tony harder next week. A less skilled driver, say Ragan, could accidentally slip and spin Tony out.

what about the 21 Hendrix cars carl needs eyes in back of head

I want Tony and Carl to race each other for it. No one else should get involved, not Kenseth, Biffle, Newman or anyone else.

6 out of race
43 looking for a good finish and the 43 pit crew fuked up

Tony should simply worry about Team Roush. They are going to beat him at Homestead just like they beat him at Phoenix today.

You are a funny, funny man BF. Let's wait until next weekend and see what happens.

There are no team orders in NASCAR!

Oh, wiat! I forgot to add :sarcasm:

I don't think Regan needs orders, Stewart just needs to make sure he's never around Regan when he decides to hang a right.

I think the Roush clan has more class than that.

Remember when Ricky Stenhouse in the Roush Racing car tried to get the ARCA Championship by wrecking Scott Speed at the finale? I doubt it was 100% Ricky's decision to do so.

Did anyone else notice that Jeff Burton didn't put up much of a fight when Tony Stewart battled the No. 31 Chevrolet for third place?

That was premeditated for weeks, and other teams definitely wanted it to happen.

Was that team order, or was that more Jeff Burton being Jeff Burton and saying "he's a little faster and fighting for a championship, why not let him by?"

Jeff Burton comes from a time when drivers respected each other, Thats what that was.

It actually seemed that Jeff backed up so Tony could pass. He tried to say he suddenly got loose and was just holding on. So Jeff, how did you finish the race right on Tonys bumper?

Bend over and take one for Chevy.

So you are suggesting that an RCR car would take one in the azz from a Hendrick (SHR) car out of Brand Loyalty? Really?

Absolutely. Chevy vs Ford is RCR's only skin in the game, and Chevy sure saw what Ford did at Talladega.

BULLCHIT.

Jeff Burton wanted to win that race as much as Kasey, Tony and Carl.

Man... some of you guys over-analyze every little aspect of the races! How many thousands of times has that same thing happened over the years?

Sure.....

"We'll see if that hurts them down the road" Jeff Gordon about Ford / Roush orders at Talladega.

"I've done a lot of favors, and I'm calling in a lot of chips" Tony Stewart.

If Burton is driving a Ford, there's no way he makes it that easy. This stuff goes on with all manufacturers.

So you prove my point! It happens every single year, if not every single race. It's not like it's a secret or anything, the TV announcers even point it out when it happens (usually).

So, you agree that Jeff did what he did because he and Tony drive Chevys. That's all I was saying from the beginning, so what else is there to say?

Respect for other racers died with Sr. IMHO There's no doubt he'd move you out of the way but he rarely did it with revenge in mind, He'd move you but not put you in the wall. Most of the time. :) Again IMHO.

We now have kids driving in the top tier of the sport. 20 years ago they would be lucky, and grateful to just be sweeping the floor in the shop.

They don't believe in 'good things come to those who wait', it's me,me,me I want it NOW!

It sure is nice to know that there's someone out there that remembers it how it actually was and not what they learned to believe by the over exaggeration of others. Hats off to you.
