Jamie Mac's #26 was at a local liquor store yesterday. Guy says Roush has 77 (!!) show cars and 77 trucks and trailers wrapped for all the teams and various sponsors!
According to the guy this was Jamies "Day-ton-ie" car with the original "Day-ton-ie" engine in it. No wonder he finished 26th, his car had a 302 in it and no trans!
He passed out more bad information then I've ever heard. I'm heading down to Roush's shop tonight, when the cars come back from the track they pull the engines and put them in the dumpster,,,,,:eek:
I could make a darn good living dumpster diving. :)
 
The car was probably there because Jamie was making a beverage run and was in there for a long time because he just couldn't decide between the green label or the black label.
The guy you were talking to was just covering for him.
