Micheal Shumacher survived a high speed testing accident at Monza Friday.
With drivers on full throttle 71% of the lap, and speeds averaging over 160 mph, with top speeds rocketing down the straights at over 220 mph. Micheal Shumacher considered himself "lucky" to escape a 220 mph shunt with only minor cuts and bruises. Ferrari confirmed that a rear tire exploded while he was at top speed and sent the german's scarlet ferrari into the guard rail. Shumacher says he will be ready for the Italian GP in less than a week, and will not hold anything back.
