Sid Caesar --- RIP

He caused my side to hurt from belly laughing many many times. RIP
 
tv back then was pm magic for average folks ...like me-n- my parents .
special family time....w/ popcorn an all.

Another one of the first television stars is gone with the death of Sid Caesar. In t hose days, everything was improvisation, on the spot comedy. Thank you Sid Caesar, for some of the best comedy on television.

Yep, until I kicked a tile loose and pop had to repair that section of the roof. He bought a long galvanized steel pole secured with U-bolts that we could spin from the ground with a pipe wrench. :D

We had one of those, had to be careful not to wrap the coax around it too many times. I can still remember when we finally got the rotor box for it, We thought that was so neat since we didn't have to go outside anymore.
