At this point it's not his last name. He is a veteran. He keeps the car clean. He takes 30th place cars and drives them to 20th.
I think things like this helps a lot to keep his car clean. He did MMA and has this nasty habit of catching fish bare handed. I think that goes a long way in keeping drivers from thinking they are going to screw with him.

He should be returning to a real job next year.
Joe is a really good dude, I've met he and his girlfriend on many occasions. Super nice kid and he may not be popular, however he's helped Dotter's team quite a bit considering the team was struggling to stay open at one point. He'll end up somewhere else more than likely.

Retzlaff has shown a lot of promise in his limited starts with RSS. I wasn't really impressed with Jeb last year but I don't think he'll be much worse than Myatt.
I'll be the first to admit that Jeb is definitely not a top level talent. I'm more of a fan of his because of the things he does outside the car (Crossroads with the Burtons and his work with the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation)

Saw this last night, no one posted it on here. Probably belongs in a 2024 thread but I’ll wait until it’s official.

Who knows, maybe it means he signed a lifetime contract extension.

On a more serious note, given his age and his recent criticism of the sanctioning body it wouldn't shock me if Kevin called it quits.
He told other drivers last season that he was going to honor his contract and then walk away. He was terrified of this car. But who knows.

On a side note, I believe today is the day Petty GMS officially becomes Legacy Motorsports Club.

The marketing guy in me doesn’t understand why Legacy would abandon the “Petty” brand. Only explanation I can think of is the Richard Petty wants to do something else with his brand.
This is shocking to me. So will the be the first time in forever we don't have a "Petty" car on the track?

Maybe Richard is going to withdraw entirely and doesn't want his name used if he's not part of it.

I'm seeing a lot of people on Facebook saying Travis Pastrana...which be out of nowhere I'd think.
