1) Denny Hamlin say's having a phone in the car is distracting. When he's in the car during a Red flag, he's focused on one thing..."How the hell did I run out of gas at Phoenix in 2010?"

Side note: Denny was following Brad around trying to get a look at his phone.

2) NASCAR decides to protect big heavy jet dryer drivers with small street cars.

3) Carl Edwards feels that Newman races way too hard on late restarts.

4) Tony made 2 big mistakes. Turning Grubb out and turning his engine off.

5) Steve Addington doesn't know what happened with Tony's car, but pointed out that neither does the HMS engineers, so there was nothing HE could have done.

6) Daytona speedway is financing that record purse with a tax on scrap metal removed from the track by race teams.

7) The Yahoo fantasy race league is fixed, and that Kimmel guy is behind it.

8) Brad Keselowski was on trackside and said he wouldn't mind getting beaten by Danica.

9) Kyle Petty said RPM is just an assembly plant that puts together other teams stuff and goes racing.

10) Jimmie Johnson felt that someone raced him too hard in the closing laps.

11) Kyle Busch cracked after too much attention from Kevin and never recovered.

12) Ford sucks.....until Brad gets behind the wheel and brings some class to the brand.

#2 just cracks me up. Do the powers that be think JPM didn't SEE the truck? ROTFLMAO

It's insane in so many ways. Do pace car drivers wear helmets and fire suits? Why put them out there in a zone with no speed limit AFTER seeing what happened to a guy sitting in a huge truck? Why not just put lights on the jet dryers and make believe they are pace cars? Put portable radar on the jet dryers and set a speed limit. There's a hundred rational answers to this 'problem' and nascar decides to use the most insane one they could think of. If Juan had slammed a pace car like that, the guy might be dead.

Jet dryer vehicles already have flashing lights on them. I think it makes perfect sense for them to where fire suits and helmets. If the pace car driver doesn't already they probably should. As far as throwing the pace car behind the jet dryers, that doesn't sound all that well thought out.

They should drive one of those highway roadside dump trucks with a the moving crash barrier at an angle behind the jet dryers.

Honestly it really does sound like a Brian France idea.

Management idea. Fender said this already: The car is cheaper than the jet drier.
Chit, I bet the car is free. Being the manufacturers want their product on the track and all.
