My mom's doctor called me and dad down here.Not sure if the news is good or bad but you folks cross your fingers please.

Just a little update folks.Actually mom has came around a bit and is showing 'marked cognitive awareness'.Her injury involves 'scar tissue in the cranial region' that will leave her impaired and requiring assisted living help.It is both sad and a little better than it could be I guess.My dad and I just got in a few minutes ago and I thought I would let you folks know.Mom is 62 years old and this fate is just hard to understand.A relief that she lives but torn about her condition. :(

Thanks again to everyone for the prayers and support.Please continue praying that she will one day return to us as she used to be.

Clark, that's really better news than you and Dad thought, Right? Continued thoughts and prayers to you and your's.
You are welcome to email me ANY time. I'm almost Mom's age and am praying for her.
 
Thanks for the update 97. At least you have some time left with her. Even if the time isn't how you would have planned, you will be grateful for it when she is gone. Every chance you get to tell her how much she means to you and how much you appreciate everything she has done for you is a priceless blessing.
