Okay, my opinion is not biased (or is it?) but after reading trash posted on other forums, accompanied by juvenile name calling and newbies or trollers picking up the pace, decided it wasn't worth it to stick with the high traffic, heart pounding , action filled negativity and immature behaviors many posters use.
At least here, and this forum pretty much speaks for itself, the trolls are quickly discovered and the newbies informed without being insulted. There is rarely, if ever, name calling.
If you want high traffic and plenty of controversy, this is not the place for you.
If you want average discussion without the negative factors thrown in, you might sit back and see what it is all about.
I could easily name every member of this forum, who, over the years I have either agreed or disagreed with. Some tried hard to kick butt and take names, myself included, yet in the end, there is a certain respect for every one who sticks it out here. The trollers, agitators, know-it-alls and wanna-bes do not seem to last.
Not enough excitement perhaps ????
We might fight, anger, pull a leg or two (get that Barelypure?), cajole, tease or flat out tell someone their driver sucks, even be disappointed in the responses from some who post here regularly, but every one of them who stays remains for the same reason and that is respect of the give and take and for each other.
The anger or disappointment that results from discussions fades away and the people who do stay find this to be a good forum.
No need to beg people to visit, or stay. The ones who stay appear to be more interested in racing as a sport and not in how much crap or controversy they can create.
If crap and controversy are what you enjoy, and you hang around here long enough, sooner or later you will get your wings clipped.
With all that being said, I'm gonna go walk my corgi. The rest of you can fight it out.
