Back left.

And what was with Zizzo....I don't think I've ever seen a blower shuck the drive mandrel assembly, and he had 1/4 of the rotor gear in his hand....

Figured @Nitro Dude would pop around by now. Things must be hectic at the shop or he's hauling somebody else around at charlotte.
Actually, i just got home a few days ago...but i have been pretty busy around here catching up on some things. My next three will be the Hot Rod Reunion, Vegas, and the world finals in Pomona.

Last weekend i was in Bakersfield Ca at the night of nitro helping Worshams upgrade someones license from alcohol to nitro. I also was helping the Hot4Teacher nostalgia funny car go to the final round where we got a runner up. I have to go meet some friends for dinner...talk to you later tonight or tomorrow.

I have been pretty busy...but now unless something changes i should be home until the middle of Oct.:) Our car didn't run very good at Indy and we burned up 5 heads and hurt two brand new cranks and blocks. The track was really tight but the air wasn't very good. On top of that we had ran out of our hard clutch discs and the ones we had in the car was just too soft for that tight of a track and the soft discs would just wear way too much at the hit and that would cause the car to not move off the line. Our 60' times went from .885 to .935. Using so much disc so early caused us to drop cylinders on the top end and either burn up the heads or break a rod. Bob, has never been very good at getting off the throttle when it drops a whole.:D We are changing from the stage 5 heads to the stage six heads. We have already took delivery of 8 new heads and we are ordering another 8 from Alan Johnson. The stage six takes a different fuel rail and headers but they will help the performance a lot.

OOP'S, I hit a key by mistake...i meant to say hole not whole in my previous post.:) Yes, the rumor is Dave Connoly will be in a nitro car next year if the money comes in. MD, how has your car been running?

Well that sucks. You're not supposed to let the promods have a better 60' than you (Frankie Taylor i believe has been in the .880-.890's)

We're about on the edge of needing a new set of tires. Dad wants to switch from Goodyear to Mickey Thompson, but I think Hoosier would be a better choice. Ideally we'd stay with GY but they are still sorting out their T/D tire selection, and they have some really weird burnout tendencies that dad's not liking.

60 degrees, 77% humidity, N wind at 17 MPH at the track at 10AM. Gonna be a cold, fast night. Overnight low was 57, forecast high is a very iffy 77 then back to the low 60's.

I put a set of Mickey Thompson 12" cheater slicks on my 70 Torino GT when it was 2 weeks old. Forgot about'em a few times and spun out on rain slicked roads. Scared the crap outta my wife. :D
