missed a nother day because of snow. and if we miss on a thursday then we miss friday. we have olny been 1 full week since school started in jan. and i hope they dont take my spring brake away. who ever sent this to us has won take it back up north.
 
I always hated havign to go longer into the summer. A few years ago we had from the Middle of December to about the mid part of January off from school. Luckly we did not have tomake up the 2 1/2 full weeks we missed, Then we had a few more 1 day off during the year.
 
Hey Lappy, you guys sure sem to get out of school alot for the weather. Do you have snow removal problems, or just problems getting the school buses on the roads?
 
Well we have missed four days due to unclimate weather. Two days last December for a really bad ice storm, but couldent make them up during that semister due to lack of time and two days this past Janurary due to some snow. Now out of my 10 day spring brake we get to make up four days. So that sucks and I still gonna think that we will have a really bad snow for us here because we normally get one good decent snow fall every winter for the past few years
 
Lappy has the same problem that Obion Co. here in Tn. Buses have to travel a lot ob back roads. And the county don't clean them.

this is the 1st year we have got out in a long time.

the way i fell now i want to get off tomm, i dont fell very well

Nascarwoman, when you get down this way, they close the schools when there is a threat of bad weather. One day last year, they called for a possible 2 inches of snow and they called off school. It didn't even rain and the sun came out, but the schools were already closed. Go figure. The parents can't drive on the roads either, so who's gonna trust the bus driver? :rolleyes:
 
Isn't it amazing how people opions change about snow. They are always so excited about the first snow fall hoping school will let out or work will be called off, but after a few flakes it's not fun no more.
