It snowed here during the night!!! There is just a little snow stuck on the picnic table and roofs!!! AHHHHHHHH I am not ready for snow!!!

Snowed here this morning. It's not sticking, though. Counties west of me had snow on the ground and had tobrush off their cars. I have to go find my snow shovel.:(

We're supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow...the family was just outside cleaning everything up so no toys or anything will get buried under it. :(

Been overflowing with sunshine down here --- but it's cold. Hasn't gotten above 63 on my back porch. It's 59 and dropping now.

Guess I need to find another quilt. hehehe

All dem Southerners durn can't stand 60 degree weatha! Come now, us real Vermontuh's don't need sweata's till dere's 6 inches uh snow on da ground. :p :p

Unreal.

I was out and about all day with a light flannel shirt.

Not really "cold" for me until it's at least 10-20.

My father lived in Utah for many years --- just over the mountain from Sundance and Park City ski resorts. He would swear that it really wouldn't feel cold unless it was below 10 degrees.

I didn't believe him. And, no, I never went to Utah in the middle of winter to find out, either. LOL He would send me pics of the 15 feet of snow in his front yard and swear that it really wasn't that cold.

Actually, TRL, it's not all that cold when it snows here. Snow is a good insulator. What is cold is the wind. To us here in the north, wind chill readings are a better gauge as to how many layers we put on then the actual temperature or snow fall amount.

The wind and the humidity level down here is what makes it feel colder than it really is. We rarely get below 45% humidity, add in a good, stiff north wind, and it's COLD! Goes right through you.

it was nice here today..........I actually complained to DE when we stopped to get gas that I was hot...........now it is starting to get cooler and here i sit in shorts and a t shirt.........gotta go change now........crazy weather.............but it doesn't snow here......:)

Paul, to this thin-blooded Southern lady, anything below 75 is cold!

AMEN!! One of the reasons I can't wait to move back south. It's 37 degress, raining, & windy here right now. I'm in my warm house and my fingers feel like ice cubes. light snow mixed with the rain tomorrow night & am snow showers on Mon. I lived in Iowa for a few yrs when I was a kid so I know that it gets much worse than what we're having in Pa right now, but being from the south, I just never could get used to it.

it has been in the low 30's here. Waiting on Snow here. Just waiting waiting and waiting more

we had snow about 1 week ago, mixed with sleet, no accumulation. i would much rather the snow than the ice and sleet and freezing rain

It has been snowing very lightly here off and on all day and night. It has changed from very light snow to a misty rain. That wet cold cuts right through you if the wind picks up. Nascarwoman...you are exactly right. Wind-chill makes all the difference. The coldest it ever got here in Akron was 25 below zero. And yes it was incredably windy also. That was brutal, but we usually don't get nearly that cold.

You guys are lucky 4x. I can remember one year where we had wind chills that were 65 and 70 below. It was no fun. They are predicting a milder winter this year. I hope.

-25 was the actual temperature. They said the wind chill was like -60! I love fall and winter, but that was just too much for me.

Yeah, but I bet you do your share of griping when it gets above 85, too. :D

I do Ward Fan...I can't stand it when it gets too hot. You can always put more clothes on, but you can only take so much off.

How long has it been since you been here penskegirl???? The summers here lately have been almost unbearable! The heat hasn't been the real problem here lately, it has been the humidity! And 4x is right. You can always put more clothes on, but you can only get away with taking off so much before "indescent" exposure comes into play.:)
