Was running the end mill and lathe for a good part of the day. We're driving the 1987, 2007, and 2008 cars tomorrow. F'07 and F'08 are going to topeka a week from tuesday for the nationals, 1987 is our driver training car because we're short on drivers.

Last year's team was 80% seniors. So i dont think much math is needed for this year's team.....80% freshmen.

We let some of the upperclassmen run 87 around, 07 just got a few hotlaps by our director of operations, 08 was a complete handful. We changed some suspension parts because of poor construction, had to start at square one. No aero devices, no swaybars, no nothin. Was oversteering like no other. Added 80 pounds of driver ballast, changed rear shock settings, and played with air pressures, eventually started handling well.

We're taking 87 and 08 out again next week, going to do aero tuning on 08.

multimedia soon.

oh, and we have an assinine amount of timing advance in the 08 car, we just couldnt get the darn thing to start if it sat for more than a minute. I prolly got about 300 foot of push starting out of that car. It didn't help that it woudlnt go into neutral, and when it did, he coulnt get it back to gear. We're spending the week fixing that end of it, and rebuilding the radiator mounting system (it hstarted dragging without the undertray on).
