I'm going to watch football, work, start college back up again and go through withdrawal.
 
Welcome back Lisa . I was hoping that you'd be around here in the off season . If you are going to be too busy , that will be a real bummer .:(
 
I will be at the Rumble at the end of the year. It gets my CO levels up and carries me thru the winter.
 
Basketball.

I'll make my way to either Square Garden or Brooklyn when the Spurs hit town so I can go see 'em play.

I'll be busy with school, work, football, video games, sleep, etc. etc. :) Offseason goes by pretty quick, especially when you consider Daytona testing is in January

Homestead -> Thanksgiving -> Christmas -> Daytona Tests -> Super Bowl -> Speedweeks -> Daytona 500 :D
 
I will be working working, and doing my college work too.
Sorting my tools, one box is a wreck , makes me crazy, and I am planning on reorganizing(lots of small elelectronic crap that will take a day or two at my speed).Time with my family too.

Plus keeping my right hand fit (not what you think, has to be in peak condition to post here at Racing Forums).

I want Xbox One just for Halo and Forza 5, but that'd be like $700+ that could be saved or put towards school :\ Maybe Christmas

Yep same here and hockey, college basketball, working out, and enjoying winter until spring training starts.
 
Imagine how the rest of us that hate the Chase feel like... We don't have Cup racing for almost 6 months. Can't wait for Datona to hear who won last year...
 
It will be time for the beloved(depending on who you ask) countdown to Daytona thread after this week. Someone will have to start it as soon as we figure out the exact number of days LOL
 
I was just going to ask, I want to get Jennifer a gaming system for Christmas but money is consideration, plus she is only home once a month from college so I will be the only one who uses it regularly while she is away.


What do you all think? I've already decided against the Wii, it just doesn't interest me.

Well if money is abit of an issue then your safe bet is a PS4. Price tag comes at $399 while the Xbox is $499.

The new Xbox could be considered more of a home entertainment system than a gaming console. Sure it plays games but they have shift their focus more towards social media and such.

Basically the Xbox is a money pit. You also have to buy a gold membership to be able to do anything online.

a Sunday 3 months and 11 days from today.
 
During the off season I'll be following my son and daughter's high school basketball season. That will keep us busy beyond the start of the 2014 season.
 
Watching my son play basketball, moving into a new home in the beginning of December, probably work some overtime, do some things to the Charger, NFL (Go Browns) and NCAA football (Go Michigan :(), NBA (Go Heat), whatever else I can do to pass the time.

Well I'm upgrading my sim racing equipment and I've already upgraded the pedals, I just need to save up for the wheel. If you want, I can send you my old wheel and pedals. Be warned though, you can't go into iRacing thinking that it's a game or on the same venue as NASCAR Inside Line, you're going to hit the wall pretty damn fast and hard if you do that. You're going to have to approach it like you would approach real life racing.
 
With college and pro football, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, it goes by pretty quick.

That week before the Super Bowl and the 3 weeks after the Super Bowl are the longest weekends of my life. Speed weeks where are you?!
 
I will be glad when racing is over to be honest. Its been a rotten year for me. Looking forward to cheering on my Kentucky Wildcats in basketball this season.
 
I would not get an XBox One unless you want Microsoft to monitor your home with their Kinect. Either get a PS4 or a gaming PC. I'd get a gaming PC if it were me.

Im gonna shoot my guns and ride my moto-cross bike. other than that I will be watching my humming bird feeder a lot.

Life sucks when there aint no Nascar :(

I wish I could just hibernate till the gates open at PIR next year
 
I'll be mostly in the woods, Deer hunting season runs until after the Daytona 500.
