I know its just one race without pigboy for Jr but I think how well he did today was more than just a coincidence. Nascars golden boy is still over rated though but with a new CC he might not look so stupid every week.

They did say that the cars were set up and in the hauler before eury got the boot. They also said the new CC fine tuned the set up when they got to the track. So who really knows?

I think if Jr starts to run better, as he did today, in the next few upcoming races it will become obvious.

I seen FOX was able to broadcast him counting Jr into his pit.

If that was a Eury setup and he was able to make it that much better, maybe it was the crew chief.

I read somewhere that they unloaded Eury's cars and loaded 2 base line HMS cars and took them to Dover because Eury's cars were so off what the rest of the teams run.

That was my understanding as well. And, Rick threw a lot of engineers at the car to try and make it top notch. So if Lil'E got 1 of Jimmie's cars and had Whitesell, Stump, Stewart and McGrew working on the car and he was able to drive up to 12th, well...

Whitesell and Rex Stump, Hendrick Motorsports' lead chassis engineer, have been assigned to support McGrew on a full-time basis. Whitesell, who won two of seven races as Jeff Gordon's interim crew chief in 1999, will join McGrew and team engineer Tom Stewart to assist with race strategy. Link

Oh, and I know Kyle had something to say about Lil'E that many here have criticised but then some of them are the same ones that wish the driver's would speak their mind and not be so vanilla.

Drivers outside the Hendrick team were asked for their comments but aside from Kyle Busch, they all made politically correct statements.
