I live in KY and Bluegrass Speedway is my closest track. We've gone to other tracks in state and a couple out of state. We are looking to see some short track racing and was wondering if anyone on here could recommend some tracks not too far away from here - say like no more than 5 or 6 hrs away from Frankfort, KY.

We hit Tyler County, Ohio Valley, Skyline, Muskingum County, used to go to Cannonball when it was open, and will make a trip to Brush Creek once a year. Was planning on trying Beckley last weekend, while on trip to Bristol, but weather didn't cooperate.

I do not know how far away Frankfurt Ky is but Sharon speedway and Raceway 7 are two fantastic tracks in NE Ohio.

yes I have been there to that sharon plant its nicce only things is there is too musc rock in it :beerbang:

Sharon opens up this Saterday. I can not wait. Supposed to be cool with about a 30% chance of showers but that = a 70% chance of racing :)

I try not to think about that 1% and I do not watch the clouds.

There are quite a few tracks in Oklahoma mostly dirt couple asphalt. State Fair Speedway in Oklahoma City being the largest 3/8 dirt and largest # competition, Lawton Speedway 1/2 dirt and Outlaw Speedway being the top 3.

I was looking at your Oklahoma Racing Connection site and saw where Steve Kosiski won there in OKC. He used to race up in the midwest in Iowa and Nebraska. I know that he at least used to live there in NB but am wondering if he moved. Those Kosiski boys were always tough to beat. I'll be out that way in OKC in a couple of weeks to visit with my folks. Wish I could head out to the track one night while I'm there, but I'm afraid that I won't be there when they have any races. :(

yep

I have alot of favorites around Illinois and Wisconsin, but I will not go back to Brownstown Speedway in Indiana the worst track ever.

buckaroo... ya, Kinser usually wins here in OKC, racing is great at State Fair Speedway I would suggest checking out Trey Robb #12... 12 year old sprint car driver, finished 3rd in A-feature at Devil's Bowl in Texas in first sprint car feature couple weeks ago...

Not too many dirt tracks around my area of Wisconsin.. but mostly we hit Angell Park Speedway for the Sunday night midget racing. And Powercom Park for the Sprints.
