Super Bowl XLIII

I want the birds to win but I have a lot of friends from Pittsburgh so I won't be upset if the Steelers win.
 
Don't follow either team so whoever wins is ok with me. I just hope it's a decent game and not a one sided blow out.
 
Pulling for AZ, since we have a loud mouth jackass (and friend) at work who's a hard core steelers fan. Of course he and some other will be at my house for a superbowl party, so pretty much everyone else will be pulling for the Cardinals.

agreed. Dont reall pay attn to football, but roomate is hosting party. so imma ride the yellow line.

I can deal with Steelers fans though I would love to wipe my azz with a "terrible towel" :XXROFL:

Washington sports fans are terrible... TERRIBLE! We've got a huge influx of arrogant Dreadskins fans, and while I hate Dallas, I don't like Redskins fans at all. Typical Washington sports fans blindly support the Redskins and Wizards but the Caps (the only good team in Washington) get no love.

But, honestly, it's the obnoxious Philadelphia fans that did me in when it comes to football. Between the Philly fans and the Redskins fans, you get an earful. They just get so erratic in any football conversation... it's like "Dude, calm down, it's just football." :rolleyes:

NASCAR fans are the best in sports. I've never seen two NASCAR fans brawl over the outcome of a race. Football fans are, on the other hand, terrible. And we've got some of the worst of them in Washington and up in Philly.

Cardinals 37-14

I'd love to see the Cardinals win and I think they will. That being said, I would not be surprised if the Steelers won in a landslide either. I'm predicting the Cards will win big because I see this being like the Panthers game in which the Cards get a few turnovers early and score quickly and get the Steelers on their heels. If the Steelers can't run the ball because they are behind they will really struggle. Ben Roethlisberger(sp?) is not very good when he has to throw a lot.

I agree! Like most people, seeing the Cinderella Cardinals win would be nice but I wouldn't be surprised if Pittsburgh wins. Most of all I really hope it's a good game. I hate when the game is essentially over before halftime!
 
Cards!

Even though they took out the Panthers, I will stick with the Cards since I don't like Pittsburgh.

Violence and stabbings are a regular occurence at Redskins and Eagles games. Eagles stadium has a jail and a courtroom inside for a reason.

Give Philly a race and watch what happends. Its not the sport, if the people are gonna do stuff like that they will do it regarless.

Back to the superbowl chat what are people watching for im guessing most people are watching the commercials or music.

Philly-area has a track. We'll see what happens if they get a Truck race or an IRL race (both are very possible).

I agree about Philadelphia (went there once will never go back) but not Washington. Even after the Junyer-Wildthing saga there weren't any problems. A lot of whiny Junyer fans but they enjoyed the race they saw nobody was killing each other in the parking lots. The worst they did was flip off KB.
 
Been a long time since I've watched a super bowl game that was that good. One of the best SB games ever IMHO. Pretty good half time show too.:)

Too bad there can only be one winner, both teams deserved to win.

Now if we can only do something about <pow> John Madden,,,,,,,,,,:D

Last year's SB wasn't too shabby...
 
Maybe one of the best "last 5 minutes" but far from being one of the best superbowl. Last years game was great throughout. This one was boring as all hell for the first 3-1/2 quarters. Even the commercials were lame.

Hell of a last 5 minutes though.
