Hey Hey... what kinda 'vette was it? Year, model, all that good stuff...

((((( TRL))))) .....it's Ok. The vette has a good home and a family that loves it. Who knows, you may even see it on the highway one day.

HERES another hug!!!
DOn't feel that bad. My uncle took my Dads Black 92 Vete out and totaled it!! At least yours is still in one piece.
WHat kind of vete was it?

I had a 1962 Corvette convertible, with rag top and detachable hardtop.

The hubby and I had dreams for a long time about restoring it, but I had to let go.

The man who bought it is bleeds Corvette red. He restored a 1958 'Vette to showcar standards. Sold it in 1998 and has been looking for a '62 --- the year he graduated from high school.

When I decided to sell the car, I contacted the webmasters for the Houston Corvette Club and the Dallas club. I didn't want to advertise in the paper --- didn't want crazies and tire kickers coming to the house.
He drove from Dallas early this morning with his car hauler and a pocket full of cash. Two hours after he'd arrived, we'd loaded and my car was gone.

He's promised me a ride when it's finished.

Oh man........I have loved Corvettes ever since I could say the word. I have two dream cars, a '63 spilt-window candy apple red and a black '67 Stingray. My eyes are getting misty just thinking about them.
