.....just for a little extra drama.

Brad is VERY smart and a bit of a manipulator. He psyched Kyle into wrecking himself off a win in the NW series earlier this year and got deep into Denny's head a couple of years ago.

Listen to what he said yesterday about Ragan, Ambrose and Menard rooting for him to outpoint Jr and Stewart by a large margin to get into the top 10. paraphrase: 'we'll see if that translates into the car Saturday. Maybe I wont have to race those guys too hard and get the points I need'. Left unsaid was, how hard will those guys race Stewart and Jr?

He isn't looking for anyone to race Tony or Jr the way Harvick raced Bayne last night, but he sure made those 3 aware of what they need to do to get in. With this point system, it could come down to Tony or Jr needing to pass one of those guys to stay in the chase, and they needing to stay in front to make it.

David Ragan is pretty fast. He may play a BIG role in deciding Tony and Jr's fate. With Davids questionable car control, this could be a race that people talk about for a long time. It also put that thought in Tony's head, and I'm sure it pisses him off a little. If he looses patience with those guys racing hard and goes off like he did with Vickers at Sonoma.......

tony and junior are gonna stroke their way to top 20 finishes. and anyone messing with those two will suffer the wrath of the nascar gods. only mechanical failure keeps those two out of the chase.

beware brad. you're in. if you're that smart: start and park!:D

Has anyone noticed NASCAR has'nt came out with their yearly "Don't race the guys trying to get into The Chase HARD" statement this year?

Or did I miss it?

I don't beleive that's Brad's style I'd be disappointed if it is.

Brad has more to gain tonight than any of the chase contender's, if he get's into that Top Ten his 3 Win's will put him at the front of the chase battle!

Nope, they haven't done that yet. IMO, if someone messes with Jr, they get the mercy flag. Tony......well, maybe not.

Brad is going to race his ass off, and may even go too far. What's the worst that can happen? Carl wrecks him and he hurts his ankle again? :beerbang:
