Some pictures from my trip

This is the car RC drove at Charlotte. It's sitting on the floor plate. The last time I was at RCR, DE's 'Dega No Bull car was on the plate being prepped for the race.
 
You sure get to see a lot more at RCR than you get to see at DEI. Look's like I should have gone there instead of DEI. :lol:
 
You are one lucky lady, now how many miles is it from kc to RCR and after that DEI.
 
TRL, there's some nice pics for sure. BTW, did you know that Chocolate's wife does TV reporting from Davidson county for a local TV station? She does a right fine job.
 
17 fan, this is the old #3 shop that's been turned into the museum. I didn't go down the hill to the new shop. I do know that RCR does have shop tours. If it's like most, you can see some things but not everything.

You're right about DEI. I've been lucky to have gotten behind the glass several times at DEI. I've even had lunch in the Trophy Room upstairs. It's unbelievable.

steveluvs3 --- The trip to DEI, Kannapolis, and RCR was done in one day with no problem. Finding Welcome can be a little tricky, you have to pay attention to the road signs. LOL
