Some Sad News for Central Florida Race Fans

4-17 Speedway, in Punta Gorda Fla., will not be hosting any Stock Cars Races anymore. A change in lease ownership to a group that does not care for Auto racing but are interested in Moto Cross. The previous lease holders are in talks with 4 different venues fo continue their efforts in Auto racing..

I sure hope that one of them that gets it is the high banked Desoto Speedway in Bradenton Fla.

Similar thing to Potomac Speedway in Maryland, son of owner will be taking over and is only interested in the motocross side of it and the dirt track will close in the near future.
