Jimmie Johnson is the fastest Chevy. There's no suprise there! Im sure Ford is doing all the cheating for everybody but brad. So it looks anyhow.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR, Paul Wolfe does NOT want to hand his secrets to Jack. Think about it.

They can play the "oh man, we are so slow, and hey FORD, can you help us out?"

It looks like Brad is having some trouble figuring out the new car, and got beat by Danica. That's gotta hurt the ego. space for ego comments
He was slow at Daytona, and now he's even slower on a 1.5 while the other Fords were fast. Like dpk, I may be searching for a new bold prediction.

There, there Fender , I wouldn't go changing my favorite driver just yet.:D

Um....there's only a half-second difference between Brad's speed and Almirola's.

Like GP said somewhere, teams aren't going to waste a whole day of Charlotte testing.

Half a second slower on a 28 second lap is huge, and his top speed is 3 and 1/2 mph off. Dear RPM, can Penske buy some geometry?

Man, I got dizzy from all the spinning going on in this thread

MWR had the three fastest Toyotas, and all three in the top 10. I wonder how Gibbs feels about that, especially as McDowell and Kyle ran the most laps and only managed 25th and 17th.

As others have said, it's only testing.

I wouldn't read a thing into that page.
Greg Anderson beat the NHRA record by a landslide in NHRA testing, so this statement stands.

In other news, Franky Taylor clicked off a .899 sixty foot in a door car....that's on par with a funny car. This statement still stands.

btw, this is off NASCAR,but Erica has a new Cam this year.

I don't see them just showing up to be there. I know NASCAR has loosened the testing rules this year, but I don't see them blowing off a test session at Charlotte. I don't think any team was gonna let the cat out of the bag so to speak, but I think there's some scratching their heads looking at the time sheet. IMO, they'll be some teams using one of their 6 tests allowed before they get to the 1.5 mile at Las Vegas.

It's at test...nothing more

Suppose!

This is just pre-season preamble. Roush is just a warmup as the good, stretchy excuses and real blame don't start flying until the 500 ;)

But, people do have to get into shape.

Remember , they test all season long and we don't normally see results . We really have no idea if their cars are even legal. They may be just testing shock and spring packages .I don't see what the big deal is , they weren't racing.

Ahhh, the voice of reason. Teams aren't going to spend a 100K to ride around testing shocks at slow speeds. Clearly Penske has work to do, the #2 team in particular.

Penske is dealing will all new geometry, and perhaps they don't have their 7 post software where it should be. After the test wreck at Daytona, Brad said it didn't hurt the team because there was no way they would have brought that car to the 500.
