that you need to qualify first before you start practicing for the race. Dude has completed over 60 laps which is damn near 3 times as many laps as any other driver. Hell he is stilll the slowest. The strategy on the first practice is to run 2-3 hot laps at a time and then come back in to adjust your race car. From what I can tell he is running about 10-12 laps at a time. Can you say Going Home in Japanese?

even if he made the race he'd start at the back, so he's probably gettin in as much practice as possible, then gonna blow up the engine and put in a new one...not like it will hurt his startin spot..

Joe has almost no track time here. Trying to get a feel for the place I would guess.

I don't think he will make the field, but can't disagree with what he doing.

I'm picking this guy for the pole :p Withing two years he will be a top driver due to the Toyota and Honda that is coming to NASCAR! Watch out guys!

I think it is good for him to do alot of laps! Possible Todd and him like the same setups and Todd could be running the Qual set up. But I doubt it. I would lke for him to run as good as he did in the ARCA race a few weeks ago in a cup car.

I think this is why he withdrew!
