I think someone forgot where next week's race is....The Burton boys own Darlington, and Junior ain't got it.

Ward had one hell of a car tonight. Too damn bad he got caught in front of Junior. But hey, that's OK. You see, Ward don't NEVER start no **** with nobody. But rest assured, ladies gentleman and Junior fans, he very well knows how to finish it. And we go to Ward's stomping grounds next. Junior WILL taste some concrete out of this one. Maybe not at Darlington, but mark my words...The Intoxicator has one coming to him. And I quote: "I just wish I had something to shoot in that window."

Junior, my man, you fu**ed with the wrong boy tonight. And for all you people who, for whatever reason, feel compelled to actually CHEER for this little drunk sawed off prick, bring it on . I'm 11 beers into it, and more than ready to show you the error of your ways. I welcome any and all comers, if the a**hole has anyone willing to defend him. I'll take whatever Paul wants to do to me. Hell, I'll paint Paul's house if need be. My boy got raped, and I don't like it. I guess it goes with the last name...Bristol....Earnhardt...act like an a**hole.

By the way, Jeff Gordon won the race.
 
Whoa TNWARD...You sure seem just a little upset about JR's incident. But as long as its at Bristol and there is a last name of Earnhardt....Nascar wont do nothing about it. Sorry about Ward, hope to see him do well (in both ways) at Darlington.

But yea, if I were Little E I'ld have foam rubber installed on my rear bumper for the next race.

It was funny to hear the announcers cracking up when he threw his little shoe things. He is getting good at it.

A quick look at the upcoming schedule:

Darlington: Ward owns it, Junior, like most places, hopes for a top 30. Easy to "get loose" there.
Richmond: A short track. If it flies at Bristol, it flies there.
New Hampshire: Who was it that won the last race there?

Bottom line: Junior, watch your ass.

That just adds a little more spice. I'm sure Jeff and Rusty started a little somethin' tonight that isn't quite over yet too.
 
Hey TWF.........Bristol!! Looked bad but if Ward was so much better why could Jr bump him like that? Ward couldn't keep Jr behind him without blocking so Jr did what he had to do to pass him!! And, yeah, I think Ward will "even the score"........but what's NASCAR without a feud or two? Now we have Spencer/Busch and Ward/Earnhardt!! Shaping up to be a hell of a season.:D

And another thing...anyone want $50 on Martin taking Rubby Gordon out later this season? I mean, come on....the little freak is lap(s) down, and takes out numbers 2 and 3 in the points on an ambush before they even get to the s/f line? THAT is why Rubby was penalized. Had he waited until turn 1, he woulda been scott free. Instead, he pulls his crap early and screws up the points race when he's in what, 23rd? Mark is about as passive a driver as you will find, but he is in a points race, and he is 12 years robbed. Rubby picked the wrong time to pull that stunt.
 
Okay.......Ward got tapped.........he wrecked!! Still makes for excitement for the rest of season. Ward will get over it, so will Jr!! Wonder if Jr bought the first round tonight?:D

You're an old time NASCAR fan.........don't you miss the good old fist fights in the infield?:)

It's racin'.... the tagging, bumping, punting and pissing and moaning is all part of it.

I have been around this sport a long long time. And yes I am aware of how short track racing operates. BUT I also know a shaft job when I see one. And I can rest assured that Ward will not allow this sawed off little wannabe to get away with his widdle shenanigans. Just because some drunk with a famous last name at a track where Daddy knocked the hell out of anyone and everyone decided to get a little throttle-happy does not mean that a real man like Ward will roll over and let it go.

Mark it down.

Dale Jr is not a real Man? I have to disagree with you there TN. Yes I didnt like the fact that he was handed a ride by his father, but thats what you get when your dad is one of Nascar's best. Now come on I know your mad about Ward but Thats Racin. Yes Jr was at fault, but Thats Racin. And Ward will get him back and that too is Racin.

I just realized something...I have been selling Junior a little short. He ain't as dumb as I thought he was. He tried to cover his tail on the radio. He knows he's in hot water. I wanna hear all the crying and the whining when he gets Junior back. I figure I got 3 weeks to wait, tops.

You won't see her yawn smilies etc when Jr's going into a wall next week. She'll be singing a different tune.

She could have done a lot for her credibility if she admitted that Jr was at fault and actually said what he did was wrong, yet we're shown even more blind allegiance.
 
Darlington is one of Jeff Gordons best tracks and coming off a win this week could make for a great race next week for the #24 team.
 
I have to say of all the boards I read and post at this is the first time I have seen such a thread of whining and jealousy....maybe you need to watch the replay a few times with sober eyes...yes they did make contact..intentional to knock ward out...hardly......and i suppose if your parents (dad) gave you an oppurtunity of a life time you'd say no....please......get over it..it's bristol...chit happens......oh yeah...LOL....Jr a wannabe.....how long has wahd been racin and how many wins does he have??!!.......and before you all start in..I like wahd...he's had a rough year and is pretty frustrated, but last nite was over board on reactions and comments........

Why is it "Just Racin" when the last name is Earnhardt? Dirty driving when the last name is Spencer?

Jealousy I THINK not! Junior is nothing to be jealous of. When he shows a little class then maybe but until that day.... well not jealousy. And let's remember one more thing. To spin somebody out like that, you have to be behind them. I am not usually jealous of somebody I am ahead of, Are you?
 
never mentioned spencer...i think the whole busch/spencer is laughable.......and I watched and listened....and again....that was far from intentional......and to quote..not paraphrase...."if wahd's gonna make sudden movements like that and not give time to back off, he's gonna get punted".....cause there wouldn't be time to react...der!!.....and..ok.....bashing and bad talking other people is classy?......and yes..that refers to you and the others on hear that bash and bad mouth the drivers and I'm not just talkin about Jr.......I am a race fan first and yes jr is one i root for as well as many others, but that doesn't mean I bad talk and bash the drivers i don't like....that shows no class........as I posted in another thread....how much attention would this get if an Earnhardt wasn't involved?
 
Dude, I hate to break it to ya...but people can bash and trashtalk any driver they choose. It's called freedom of speech.

I draw the line when people start to attack each other.

But, back on topic...I've seen fans of all drivers call out all different drivers when they pull crap like that. The only fan that seems unable to distinguish dirty driving when their driver does it is a Jr fan. Like I said, read through some of the older threads and you'll see people saying the exact same stuff about each dirty driving incident.

Why do Jr fans think they are these martyrs? Always thinking that poor, innocent Jr is always getting picked on for no reason?

Show me a post where I have given a nickname to a driver other than the ones given to them by announcers or such. Then we will talk about class, ok.

Funny, Paul...I wasn't aware that I had to constantly prove my credibility to you or anyone else. I'm just a race fan, and I thought what happened last night was just a racin' deal, like so many others.

Also, I was 1/2 tanked, exhausted, and had a pile of dishes to clean. I'm not allowed to used smilies now? I could have said so much, but I was biting my tongue. With good reason, it seems. I said hardly anything, and look at this backlash. Whoah, some real bitterness out there this morning. Typical Bristol aftershock.

No, I won't be smiling if Junior goes into the wall next week. He's done it on more than one occasion already this year, and it was never pleasant.

Sorry that my being a Junior fan disturbs so many people. I saw that incident repeated at least five times with other drivers last night -- hell, I've seen it all year long -- yet none of them gets bashed as badly as Junior does. And, if you're a fan of his?...Whoah, get ready to be jumped. You have to be Clarence Darrow sometimes to get out of here with your shirt on...
