pay backGordon used to be a master of the bump and run, I also remember him doing it to Rusty Wallace for the win at Bristol one year. Not sure why you don't see it as much anymore.
I was at both of those races, I like the second one better than the first one. both were great races.Boys have at it probably cured some of that ( in a general sense, not referring to Jeff in particular).
I am in the minority on it but I dont like bump and runs. Even as an old Earnhardt fan, I didnt like the way he raced Terry Labonte at Bristol (which was beyond a bump and run).
If a driver is blocking you move him, but if he is running the line he would normally run race hin clean. Moving a guy just because it is the last lap is chicken**** and it deserves physical retaliation imo.
All of the above is just my opinion, we can still be friends if you want to be wrong and disagree with me.

Jeff did it just a few years ago to Kyle at Phoenix. It's not done though anymore. Like someone said in another thread, you touch another car, it screws up your car has well.
I was just a kid but I remember this race and cheering in front of the TV for the last 5 laps. Between this and Gordon's Atlanta win over Jimmie Johnson in 2011 are my favorites. Never seen Jeff race a loose car like that before, and haven't since. That fire needs to return before retire.
That was unintentional though. Didn't Gordon get loose going into turn 1 and almost took them both out?
