Someone please explain this to me...

It's a big sin to Rusty and Brad that Kyle Busch didn't talk to the media last week after the incident with Bread.

Now, I'm not going to bring up Rusty's stellar reputation. :sarcasm:

But why don't they ever comment when any other driver blows off the media? Any other time, they just say "he's cooling off." Why is it a sin when Kyle, and only Kyle, doesn't talk to the media? Is it simply because it's Kyle Busch?

In this case, it was because everyone was left wondering just what happened and wanted to hear Busch's version. Sometimes these guys forget that they race to provide enjoyment to the fans that come to see them.

Rusty was always too busy cussing, drinking beer, and throwing water bottles!

Mainly because he left his teammate hanging and feeling guilty that he'd done something wrong.

This.

It's because Kyle does it everytime, and threw his teammate to the wolves in this case. Clearly Kyle had a tire issue on the restart that caused Joey to get into him.

Kyle complained that that it's never Junior's fault, but what about himself? When Kyle runs bad, or has bad luck it's never his fault either. It's always the teams fault, or the cars fault. At least Dale doesn't go storming off.

And a lot of the "not Junior's fault" stuff comes from his fans, not himself.

At least Kyle is in the top 10.

Kyle can win 201 wins, and 8 championships and he will never have the respect that Dale has with the fans and other drivers.

Winning isn't everything. Just ask the most respected driver in the garage: Mark Martin.

Mark was quoted as saying Kyle was the greatest raw talent on the track

No race car driver starts racing to please a bunch of people he/she doesn't know. You start racing because it's fun to go fast and compete with others that like to go fast.

It just dawned on me that Junyer hasn't won a race since President Obama was sworn in.

Thus, we can now conclude, it's Obama's fault!

Speaking of overreacting, if you watched the interview with Junyar, even Lance admitted that the team wasn't ready for top tens yet, that they need top 15's before they can consider top tens. Dale has even taken the blame. Now this whole argument/thread was started because it seems that everyone is looking to Junyar to be the second coming of Big E when he is not and has repeated himself that he isn't. Just because Junyar has a huge fan base of people that like him because of who he is and what he represents doesn't mean there should be a higher expectation of what he should do. He has won two, count them, two Nationwide championships. He is in the big leagues now and just like most people who make that transition, he hasn't gone on to win the championship and it seems detractors want to write him off because of that. Look at how many championships Shrub has won. That's right, he hasn't. Just because he is the hottest driver on the circuit and has won three races doesn't mean that he's championship material either. The poor kid is stuggling. So freakin what. Why does there have to be numerous thread started about his admitted failures (something that Shrub NEVER admits to) and why does he have to be continually lambasted by such yellow journalism. Give me a break. I don't even necessarily care for Junyar and I hate to have to defend him, but these stupid threads are making me do the unthinkable.

I totally agree, carsntunes.

This horse has been beaten long enough. Hear me talking, Andy?
