people helping people. Bruce broke his 434 small block, so he put a 355 in his roadster. He's had to drive it ever since he bought it, suspension was way out of whack. He was footbrake launching to slow the car down to give him time to drive it back in the groove. Dad took our scales over on saturday, and spent 5 hours working the suspension to get corner weights that made sense.

Took it to the track wednesday night, 5.50's off the trailer dead straight leaving off the transbrake. Here's the kicker: It was dad's first time to ever tune a 4 link. Our stuff has always been ladder bar.

The meat of the video is from 3:00 to 4:45.

That's almost the norm in dirt racing, at least in my experience. Hell, I see it all the time. Someone breaks before a feature, guys pull together and got the guy fixed up so he can run.

Not the case here. Heard from several that have come to the other side of the road, that there is no help to be had at either dirt track. You break, you might as well pack

And that's literal. Some guys have walked across the street in search of MSD and mallory boxes. We and others have let them borrow tools before. It's every man for themself over there.

And yes, I really mean across the street.

What a bunch of pricks.

Why are their 2 dirt tracks next to each other that look the same size?

Seems like I've heard they have different owners, and they run differnt classes. But runthe same night and bring the cars and fan each week.

But I see guys help someone each week. Must just be that track. Dirt drivers are some of the ni est drivers I've meet. Had more issues from some drag guys. But there are jerks in.both

That's pretty much it. I don't know the politics of the deal, but Nick pretty much drove the nail.

At least our ticket office is nice enough to let people in for free as long as they have their entry ticket from the dirt track, if they're looking for loaners.

Oh, and Bruce went 5.511 this morning at 1:30 AM. We both went out 4th round.
