I sometimes get random bits of songs stuck going around in my head and since they usually get stuck there by other people, I thought I'd share and see if I could inflict them on the rest of you. Share yours with the other members. I will start:

Splish, Splash, I was taking a bath.
Long about a Saturday night.

When I went to exercise class today, the music was Beach Boys mixed with The Ventures. So now, it's "we'll have fun, fun, fun now that daddy took the T-Bird away."

ROTFL

I heard Elton John on the radio at work this morning, now all I hear in my head is......."Goodbye Norma Jean.........Your candle burned out long before the legend ever will...."

I like that song....darn, now it will be going around in my mind. :) Curves? My wive goes to Curves.

How about......Found a peanut, found a peanut. Found a peanut just now.

Well that'll be the day
When you say good-bye
Yes that'll be the day
When you make me cry
You say you're gonna leave
You know it's a lie'cause that'll be the day
When I die

" hey hey hey yeah, (hey hey hey yeah) i said a hey hey hey yeah, (I said a hey hey hey yeah), Now come on take a trip with me, down to Mississippi down to New Orlands"

Yes, muggle, I go to Curves. Absolutely love it and have a blast every day.

How about "Little Deuce Coup". LOL

Or, my personal favorite --- "Little Old Lady From Pasadena" :D

Or ....GTO...and one of my favorites although a very old one.....Maybelline by Chuck Berry.

Yeah, my wife also like Curves and has a great time.:)

"amazan grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me, i once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now i see"

"There is a house in New Orleans, and they call it the rising sun" (Joan Baez version) has been playing in my dreams and now I am rewinding on "Gaveston"

Good one kat. Now I will have that song in my noggin.

There is a house in New Orleans
They call the Risin' Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy.
And God, I know I'm one.

My mother, was a tailor,
She sewed m' new blue jeans
My father was a gamblin' man
Down in New Orleans

Go and tell my baby sister
Never do like I have done,
But to shun that house in New Orleans
That they call the Rising Sun.

The odds should be pretty good that these lyrics will be in your head the rest of the day. :)

Bye, bye Miss American Pie
drove my Chevy to the levy
but the levy was dry
an them good ol' boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
singin this will be the day that I die,
this will be the day that I die.

A long, long time ago I can still remember how that music used to make me smile and I knew if I had my chance that I could make those people dance and maybe they'd be happy for a while but February made me shiver with every paper I delivered, bad news on the door step, I couldn't take one more step, I can't remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride but something touched me deep inside, the day, the music, died. So...
CHORUS
Bye, bye Miss American Pie drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry an them good ol' boys were drinkin whiskey and rye singin this will be the day that I die, this will be the day that I die.
Don McLean

""Somewhere Over The Rainbow""" Judy Garland version is amazing...so is the Ray Charles version.

Somewhere over the rainbow
way up high
Theres a land that I heard of once in a lullaby
somewhere over the rainbow
skies are blue
and the dreams you dare to dream
really do come true.

Judy Garland was on a level that is unattainable by others....and to think how much more she could have accomplished. :(

My 15 month old great nephew has got a music video of childrens songs so I went to work singing, "DO YOU KNOW THE MUFFIN MAN...."

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey.
You'll never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away"
