Sonoma Qualifying

OMG!

Marcos Ambrose is starting 3rd as of now. That's one guy I can really pull for. Other than Michael Waltrip and Mark Martin, he's got to be the nicest guy in the series. He tries so hard, and came so close to sweeping Watkins Glen last year.

Even if he only gets one win in his career, I want to see him win at the Cup level.

Looks like the "road course ringers" are falling by the wayside, as have the open-wheel guys that have come to the Cup level of this series and tried to sell thier wares. We truly have the best race car drivers anywhere right here at the Cup level.
Drag racer guys don't count; they are only good for 1000 feet and only under 4 seconds. I wish them luck on their wedding night. :D

How big will this be that Scott Speed DNQ's while his teammate gets the pole??? Do I see vultures?

Just got back from the track, i must say i wasnt expecting to see Vickers get the pole. I was pulling for the road course specialists to knock out the field fillers but i guess Nemechek, and Blaney where able to pull something out of there hat. Scott Speeds qualifying run had to be the biggest dissapointment i seen him earlier in the day he was answering fan questions seemed very nice. Scott seems to be doing the same thing AJ Allmendinger his first year, i remember AJ missed the race at Sonoma when he came in with big road course expectations.

Lol and i just turned on speed channel seen trackside was on and i seen myself standing in the background.

Brian Vickers has been good at 1 or 2 lap qualifying runs all year. Too bad he can't do anything when it matters.

Scott Speed's a nice guy. I met him at New Jersey last year. Red Bull should've put him in Nationwide for a year before moving him to Cup.

Joe Nemechek is putting Scott Speed in his car for the race. He had it OK'd with the NASCAR officials. I read it by reporters on Twitter.

I skipped watching qualifying because the college world series takes prescedence, but nice to see #83 take the poll. He took it last week too when I didnt watch qualifying. Maybe if I dont watch the race he will win.
