Source of all the new rumors?

Am I the only one who noticed that all of the new rumors posted here today come from the same source?

A source noted for its undependablity and sensationalism as well as its lack of factual basis.

A source who is considered to be a complete joke, even among his peers in the business?

A source who usually makes a point of reporting that his information is the current "garage rumor"?

I wouldn't put too much faith in any of the Winston-Salem Journal reports, and absolutely none in anything Mike Mulhern writes.

I am assuming you are talking about the posts that I am posting... If you look at the end of each of the original posts, you will see the source of the post. I am not here to start false rumors, just supply information.

And, most all of the information that comes from the Winston-Salem Journal, aka Mike Mulhern's rag, is just that. ALL rumor, no fact. ;)

He is not taking a stabb at you, He said same source, which is Winston-salem.....

Didn't know how much he was disliked here and how much of a "source" he is Not...

Yep he tends to be quite unreliable, i wouldn't believe any of his stuff unless it is backed up by an official statement from NASCAR. ^_^

Ok then.... I will discount his stuff.... Thanks

Mulhern throws everything out there just to cause a stir. He manipulates it to put the spin on it he wants to...

I saw the Tony Stewart Busch car before the race, there was no tape over the ass...

I got this from jayski...

Stewart in trouble? UPDATE unlikely: Tony Stewart may be in trouble with NASCAR for an incident in Saturday's Busch race: Stewart's car was sponsored by rocker Kid Rock, who bills himself as "American Bad Ass," from the title of his first hit single. Stewart's car had Kid Rock painted on the quarterpanel and "American Bad Ass" on the hood, but NASCAR officials made Stewart tape over the offending song title. However during the first pit stop Stewart ordered his crew to pull off the tape, which the crew did.(Winston Salem Journal)
UPDATE: been told by folks with the team that Stewart's car started the race without the tape covering any part of the song title and that Stewart made no such orders.(6-1-2004)

In other words, Mulhern was simply making up the facts to suit what he wanted them to be...

W.O.P., If you are relatively new to NASCAR message boards,
You would have no way of knowing how that board nor it's
posters feel about any reporter. LOL No crystal ball in this house either.
However, I did learn a couple years ago at another board
that he is NOT well respected by most posters at most boards.
We all have to "post and learn"!! LOL
