Hey everyone,

I had no idea where to post this, so I'm just taking a wild guess

My little 1981 Toyota race car had been very neglected before I got it. The previous owner drove the sh** out of it and never bothered to maintain it. Then she decided to park it beside the ocean for 2 years. Needless to say the poor car isn't in the geatest of shape. Anyways, I'm needing to change the Spark Plugs, but there are many varieties out there, so I was wonding what you guys like to use in your cars??

Thanks for the help! :D

Since iv not changed mine in my racecar in a while, i'll see what i am running and will let ya know. I dont run anything special. More then likly they are Autolight. But i'll check for ya.

I agree. We use NGK in everything from our pit quad, race quads/bikes, to teh race cars and tow vehicals. NGK has one of the best performance charts I have ever seen. We put one of our cars on a dyno once (motor dyno) with several different set ups for plugs, wires, and small stuff like that to squeeze every little bit of power. I won't mention but a few names of other brands-Autolite and AC Delco were 2 we put up against NGK. Needless to say, NGK had a 3-5 percent gain over any others. With a 1.5% error, it's still pretty nice to see what a plug does for your motor! We used a twin MSD box, platinum wires w/copper cores. Can't remember everything right off, but mostly the plugs were a big gain.
