Speaking of Truex and DEI

I'm watching the Busch race and cannot believe what I just saw - if I saw it correctly! Jr. and Truex were drafting partners, OK - fine. Truex had pitted earlier and Jr. stayed out. For some reason they made Truex come in and stay with Jr. when Jr. needed to pit. Just to stay together and continue drafting I'm sure, but come on - Truex is point racing and Jr. is not. Did anyone else see this and am I missing something? Always possible, of course, but they talked about it on TV this way, too.
 
Doesn't really matter now....Truex, Jr won and announced that he signed his contract with DEI.

I missed the part of what you are talking about....Was Jr and Truex the only ones that came down pit road? If so, they probably need Truex to go with Jr so he would have help catching back up with the field. But I dunno...
 
well DEI did a good thing signing truex jr, because he is the only active driver that is winning races, well aleast in the busch, but hey something gotta give.
