Sponsor Celebrates Elliott Sadler’s 200th Start with Special Candy: To commemorate Elliott Sadler’s 200th NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series career start, Masterfoods USA, makers of M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies stopped the factory presses to create a personalized batch just for their favorite driver. As it stands, Sadler has brought the world’s most recognizable candy to victory lane twice this season and is currently sixth in the championship point standings. The workers at the Hackettstown, NJ plant decided to separate 100 pounds of Yellow and Blue M&M’S and print “Elliott Sadler, 200th Start” included with the signature “m”. “Elliott Sadler has become an integral part of the M&M’S family and as a company we felt there was no better way for a sponsor to honor their driver than to personalize the product he represents with his name,” said William Clements, National Sponsorship Manager. “We wish Elliott luck on his 200th start and recognize his efforts in the NASCAR community both on the track and off of it.” The “200th Start” M&M’S will be available exclusively to the media covering the GFS Marketplace 400 at Michigan International Speedway this weekend. - Elevation Motorsports Group
