SPEED HD

Just got word that Comcast-Charles has NO PLANS to add SPEED HD.

Yet they continue to advertise (herE) that they have 165 HD channels and more than 500 HD programs On Demand. Gee, Comcast, I'm having a hard time finding this.

Looks like I'll be watching the Twin 150s and Winston Select (yeah, I know, All Star Challlenge ) in distorted picture with the pixels very visible.

Actually, TNT covered the Twin 150s in HD in 2006.

And, I actually get TNT HD.

I would ask if you lose your reception in bad weather, but we lose our reception all the time. More and more people moving in around here and Comcast has not updated the frequency for the area, so the picture goes out ALL THE TIME, even on basic.

I love my Dish. The dvr is wonderful. To have speed is worth it all.

I havent had issues with bad weather and my dish.....i dropped Time Warner because the price was getting out of hand and I was getting tired of the pissing contest between TW and NFL Network.

I've had Dish since September and love it....just talked my pops in trading in his cable box also.

Back in the day we had a big dish. Then traded for PrimeStar and then DirecTV. But, since we moved to the city 5 years ago and had the chance to try cable for the 1st time we haven't gone back. My wife being home all day is the main reason. I'd switch in a moment but she got too used to the dish going out in bad weather I can't talk her into it.
I won't tell you how much we pay but leave it at we have every channel TWC broadcasts except for the pron. + the Internets + the dig phone. We pay $Texas.
