Wednesday, SPEED announced that Spencer had been relieved of his duties on both NASCAR RaceDay and the post-race TV show called Victory Lane.

Well that sucks wonder why? Just as long as they keep Kenny I will be happy though.

It seems that he may be getting a show of his own.....

Among the new programming: A show that delves into the lifestyle of the fans who tailgate and camp at the track; a show that recaps the Sprint Cup race through scanner communication between the drivers and their crews; and Jimmy Spencer's own show, a first for the former driver and outspoken co-host of Speed's at-track show, NASCAR RaceDay.

It seems that SPEED may believe that Spencer's willingness to put himself on the NASCAR firing line will pay off in ratings. The format of Spencer's new TV offering has still not been made public. One thing is for sure, Spencer does not keep a low profile when the cameras are on. The RaceDay program confirms that.

Spencer is to have his own show on Speed, Monday's @ 8:30PM named, 'What's The Deal?'.

I really like the dynamics of those three, it will be interesting to see who takes his seat (hoping it is NOT larry mac).

SPEED signed former NASCAR driver Kyle Petty to a new multiyear deal that will position the veteran television personality with John Roberts, Kenny Wallace and Wendy Venturini on the popular NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pre-race show, NASCAR RaceDay Built by The Home Depot. Petty also will appear on the post-race program, NASCAR Victory Lane, and continue his role on the popular game show, NASCAR Smarts.

KP is my favorite.

I like him, but when he is calling a race he seems to drone on a bit. He can be funny at times too. That road race when he cussed as in race reporter when Kenseth hit him, that was funny :D (or was is Harvick that hit him? damn I am getting old *shrug*)

I'm torn, but since I don't watch the program, it really doesn't bother me. Jimmy is a pompous butt, but he does say what he means which is something that you don't see often.

K.P.will be a fine replacement, as long as he watches his mouth when he thinks the cameras are not on him.

Good luck to Jimmy though, I think the new show will bomb!
