It took me a while to realize that the morning is "cooler" than the late evening for mowing. Got the hill done. Hubby even got on the big tractor and did some mowing under the trees(the other half of the hill). We got the whole 6 acres cut in 2 hours --- yippee ! !

Was good to see the hubby on the tractor --- means he must be feeling a bit better.

Already 90*, and it's not even noon. :p

Hired a guy to do our lawn this year. IMHO not worth the hassle.

I DO NOT miss cutting hay for the horses, putting it in windrows and then bailing. In a constant cloud of hay "dust" that sticks and itches like crazy.

I did a little landscaping back in the day and dealing with mulch hay was bad enough..I could only image what you went through

It's always on the hottest, most humid days with no wind so the "cloud" just hangs there. Because of my COPD I have been wearing my respirator with particulate filters, very hot and uncomfortable.

But no more horsey's, Red went to a nice family for the sum of $1. We put DeNiro down. Miss them but it was getting to be too much.
