My mother was a die hard nascar fan. She recently passed away & we would like to know if ANYONE out there knows about how we could spread her ashes via the infield. I'm from PA, my sister lives in CA & will be here next Saturday for the service.

Please call the track. I was in Phoenix in 2016 for the Playoff event. I was between 1 and 2 on the infield with a Hot Pass, and a man walked up with a box in his hands just before a practice session. He waited. A NASCAR official started speaking into his mic and gesturing to the guy, then came over at escorted him to the wall between pit road and the track. The dude spread his Dad's ashes around the wall, and behind the safer barrier. He told me that this was the first race in Phoenix he was attending without his Dad. Absolutely the coolest thing I have ever seen. I will never forget it.
