Sprint Cup Practice on FXSP2, I'm mad

Now, I know College football is on today but c'mon man, give us our Sprint Cup practice. Not all of us get FXSP2.


Sorry if this doesn't go here but I didn't know where else to put it.
 
Nascar should be concerned about increasing, or even retaining their fan base and having practice etc on channels readily available to all!
 
This is why Fox bought Nascar rights. So they do stuff like this and put the Nascar "shoulder programming" on FS2 so people get angry and call their cable company and demand FS2.

Fox's strategy is based on getting millions of people angry enough that they pester their cable company.

ohhhhhhhhh, well, I have a nasty headache today and sinus' that won't quite draining and I'm pissed that I cannot see practice.

Do the people whining about not getting FS2 take the time to call or email their provider or do they just start threads on obscure message boards?

I've been a DIRECTV Premier subscriber for 6 years. The $150 or so per month is well worth it. Plus 7 tuners = no recording conflicts! :)

I'm gettin real sick of Larry Mac and Kyle calling out the 15 . I prefer announcers to be at least impartial .I listened to the announcers on the truck race last night . They reported on the incident several times but didn't give a personal opinion. .Larry and Kyle have been around racing long enough to know that this isn't the first time , nor will it be the last . To take it personally is pretty stupid . I hope the next time they have to interview a MWR employee , they are told 'no comment'.

they are Fox puppets now..what the heck do you expect..have you noticed the same guys are now yelling screaming and jumping up and down?..That is fox's idea of being "enthusiastic"
 
As for watching Speed, I get completely annoyed with the R U Faster Than A Redneck commercial and have to change the channel.

I can't imagine a dumber career move then coming out against racers and Nascar . Be interesting to see how it works out for them .

They show that commercial on nearly every break along with the Dumbest Stuff on Wheels and I just don't have the patience to withstand it :(

You probably don't get the Fox1 B.S. up there..that's what they do..got to remember although they are X Nascar, they work for Fox and this is the new style of B.S. they are selling. Scream and yell and point fingers and stir it up for the ratings. The X Nascar guys used to protect Nascar a bit out of loyality, and only Petty would run his mouth.

A lot of sports reporters have made themselves persona non grata in club houses over the years by running their mouths .

Not to all. I wouldn't watch a college football game if I were there having a picnic on the field.
I had to buy Time Warner Cable's "Sports Pass" to get FS2 and some of the other smaller sports channels.
 
Well, I still got a practice session from yesterday to watch and then if I can't see todays practice then I think I might just go to the Wet Electric Wave concert at Hunington Beach. I figure thousands of bikini clad college girls splashing around in water should take my mind off of missing a couple of practice sessions.:cool: :D

That's why I skip all pre-race stuff --- or watch with the "mute" activated. Just cannot stand the yelling/screaming.

It sucks to shell out the extra dough but it's better than missing something that you want to watch. I hate TWC but the one thing I like is the ability to manage my channel lineup online without having to get on the phone and wait for half an hour to speak to someone.

It isn't that much, only $8.99 for 16 more sports channels including fxsp2.

Oh boy 16 more channels to get the one ya want. I hear ya though, I would probably do the same thing. I have rural cable, not available, they buy their package from somebody else. they will probably be forced to add it in the future which is what Fox is twisting everybody's arm to make them do. I would have to switch and deal with the dish and dish people if I want it quick.
