Sprint Pit Crew Challenge

This format sucks. Just something else NASCAR ruined.

It was much more entertaining when it was done at Rockingham -- and the whole team (driver included) was involved and they had to do real pit stops.

Congrats to the Cat Crew 31 teams wins the Pit Crew Challenge over the 43 team.

Me too

I enjoyed those ones better myself. This pushing the car and fake stuff indoors just doesn't do it for me.
Betsy:rolleyes:

me either....... its so much better when the driver has to hit the box, then the guys have to work around each other....... then driver gotta go go go....... oh well..... I still watched it, lol. Good to see Childress' bunch on top.... not quite the Flyin Aces, but still......:beerbang:

I like the new format better because it recognizes the pit crews more than the old format. They are now able to be timed as individuals which is something that they could never do in the past. :beerbang:

Congrats to the 31 crew!

I agree. This format is much better(IMO). These guys rarely get any recognition and for one night they are in the spotlight and they deserve that.

I like this format quite well, and I like how it ties the 2 weeks together in Charlotte for a real fan fest that IMHO equals the Month of May at Indy.

Hey tonight in the quals you get the real pitstops so it should be satisfying to everyone.

This format SUCKS big time. This is not how a crew works on race day and means squat under these conditions. It's a damn joke

I just watched i have to say there goes 2 hours i will never get back. I liked it better when they did it at Rockingham, but i guess since they dont race there anymore they dont want anything to do with it. Still the new format is a joke where the Rockingham format was realistic to the actual race conditions.

You probably should have been able to figure out well before the end of the two hours that you didn't like the format. You could still had some of that two hours you lost. LOL

I'm a fan of the new format. :beerbang:

I hate to break it to people, but All-Star skill competitions across all professional sports rarely have anything to do with actual in-sport circumstances...unless you think midgets throwing alley oops to guys in capes jumping over another guys shoulders hop skotch style to dunk is commonplace in the NBA or hitting 12 consecutive home runs is the norm for Major Leaguers(just as a few examples).

So the way they were doing it for years was wrong:rolleyes: Just because they do it doesn't mean we have to

Just goes to show you can't please everyone.

I watched all 2 hours and enjoyed it all.
