Stacey Compton Goes BAM

Totaly NASCAR reported tonight that Stacey Compton will drive the #49 BAM racing entry at 'dega. Is this guy nuts! He has to be the sixth or seventh driver for this group of nitwits. BAM needs to back away, get better equipment and start in ARCA or Busch. They aren't ready to run with the big boys. They will never get any consistency and communication of they play musical drivers. This is just my opinion. Anyone else got a thought?
 
I totally agree with you Nascarwoman. BAM has it all in the name BAM for hitting the walls so much. Stacy should be embarresed to drive their cars. They need to stop racing now and get it together in another series.
 
Well, Stacey was on the pole last year for Melling in subpar equipment, so this will be a test of just how bad bam's equipment is.
 
Melling is Subpar, But Bam is Subparx100. There is no way that any driver is going to drive one of their cars to a top 20 finish unless their not in the Big one. IMO
 
Bad move by Stacey, that car needs to go back to busch and start over.
 
Well, he drove for AJ. Can't expect any worse treatment than that...:rolleyes:

:D I think you are giving Bam to much credit when you said they should go back to Busch. Maybe ARCA would be more in line. Poor Stacey he has to be hurting for a ride.
 
Jayski says Compton, NASCAR.com says LePage. I trust Jayski, but whoever it is and whenever we find out, they will go BAM. Unless they go BOOM like Stuart last week.
 
I think Compton might do good in the 49 BAM car this weekend. He seems to do really well in a Dodge and he might help out this team with the restrictor plate setups. The one thing that I don't get is why they don't put there full time driver back in the car. I feal really bad for Shawna. She though she had a 20 race (or more) deal with this team but she keeps getting replaced now.
 
Can't help myself, nothing against him but he will go BAM in that car. Either the car will or the mototr
 
If they asked me to drive, I'd go in a second. But for somebody who actually is a good racecar driver to drive for that team is beyond me too.
 
I think BAM needs to back down and figure things out before going for Winston Cup. I mean, sit down... get a driver (actually keep him for more than 2 races), gather good equip., and have at it.

As far as Stacey Compton goes, he's not my favorite driver, but he's a real good guy. I met him at Bristol in August, and I must say.. he's very nice to all of his fans. When I met him, we talked for over 5 minutes and keep me to his side as he signed others autographs just to talk to me. He gave me good advice on getting into Nascar, and is just an all around good guy. I hope he gets the ride he deserves, and does really well... cause he deserves it.
 
BAM should do a special drawing to put a fan in the car, its going to be the same result. I hope Compton gets a decent ride for next season.
 
I never thought I'd say this, but....wonder if Stacy wishes he was back in AJ's ride after Sunday?
 
AJ's ride is always a hot topic. Mike Wallace has done good with it though, hopefully he can stay in the ride and keep turning out good results. I know the team isn't that good, but the past couple races that 14 car has been in the race a lot longer than what everyone expects.

So true, TN. At least in AJ's car he had a fighting chance. That stuff seems better then the BAM or BOOM stuff.
