The O'Reilly All Star Sprint Car series begins the season on February 3rd, 2011, at Screven Speedway, Sylvania, Georgia.
Daryn Pittmann will again be the driver of the #27 Heffner Racing 410 sprint with Scrub-A-Dub Performance Car Wash located in Hackettstown, NJ, as an associate sponsor.
From Screven Speedway, the tour goes to Ocala and onto Barbersville, Florida. Pittmann delivered a new trailer from Indiana where it is nearly buried in snow since delivery! The team plans to leave Lehigh Valley, PA, Tuesday, February 1st to start the 2011 season.
Pittman finished tenth in the Chili Bowl feature after starting near last in the Hurley Ford midget, working his way to twelfth before getting involved in a wreck not of his making. After restarting nearly last he worked his way to tenth by feature end.
In the record book, the finish doesn't look like much but observers who saw Pittmann come from the back to the front twice feel the car and driver were serious contenders. I'll try to provide photos as soon as I figure out how to post them and as the season progresses.
