The race is pretty good right now, the championship separated from only a few points.

With 17 to go Sam Hornish Jr. dropped out of the race so his championship run is over. Helio Castroneves is having some problems, Gil De Ferran could win the final race of his career.
 
Still not on here *sigh*, GOOOOOOO helio and where is JPM?

I'm watching the Cart race and Tracey in the lead.
 
Gil De Ferran is the race winner, Scott Dixon is the IRL Champ. The race was cut 5 laps short because of Kenny Brack's crash, and damage to the track caused by it.
 
That was a horrible crash with Kenny Brack. I hope he is ok. Gil de Feran won in his final IRL race at Texas. Scott Dixon won the championship finishing second.
 
The Indy Racing League says that Kenny Brack is awake and alert.

Just reported on speed channel that the race will be on at 9pm ET.

Did Gil retire?

The IRL IndyCar race from Texas was on ESPN.
The F1 race is what is on SPEED tonight that is wher JPM is racing not the IRL.



COngrats to Gil, What a nice way to finish his racing career! Yes he is now retired

COngrats to Dixon and Ganasi racing on there first IRL IndyCar championship.


Thoughts and Prayers go out to Brack and his family! That was a horrible wreck, I think the IRLid the right thing to cut the race short 5 laps!

CAn't wait for next season to start!!!
 
Whatever, and it wasn't on my tv at all on ESPN or ESPN2.

I'm entiteled to be confused :)
