This sounds like a great start to me. Now if they can just end the race like this, that would be sweet :D

Nice break for the guys who don't qualify that well at NH.

I'm betting it's going to be a very entertaining first few laps between the first four.
 
Newman was possibly hurt the most due to the "no qualifying" thing. It probably cost him at least the 5 bonus points for leading the first lap. The bonus points will be more important than ever in the playoff.

I still am in favor of the old championship system but admit that it will be real interesting to see how the new system plays out.
 
I still don't care much for the "Chase" system, but on the other hand if Gordon and Johnson finish 1,2 with Junior 3rd I'm not gonna complain. AND if Sadler ends up in the same position at the end of the season, that's kewl with me too!
In fact, IF the season ends exactly as they stand now, then IMO the "Chase" is OK but may need some tweaking!
