Or should I put this in The Podium as well

Say goodbye to one of the greatest irritants of modern life: television commercials that are MUCH LOUDER THAN THE SHOW YOU ARE WATCHING!

Beginning Thursday, the Federal Communications Commission is barring broadcasters and pay TV providers from airing excessively loud commercials, saying ads must maintain the "same average volume" as the programs they accompany.

The move -- which undoubtedly will make many TV viewers happier, and save countless marriages -- addresses a problem that, regulators say, is almost as old as television itself.

As well it should:rolleyes:This is how Obama won the election!!! Obama paid for Romney ads to be run at 3am to wake people like me who fall asleep with the TV on. I hated Romney for this till I seen who was behind it on Fox News, but it was too late, my vote was in:mad:

:D

I'm not sure that congress doesn't have bigger things to worry about, but this is still a very good thing they did for a change.

I have a 10 year old Sony, no baloney, that has the auto audio level.

But the Billy Mayes nightmares will probably last until yr 2100.
