Basically same story at Steubenville, a group of athletes take advantage of young women via rape and the town, being ass backwards decide to make the victim's life a living Hell, because **** doing what's right for the victim when we got FOOTBALL!

Honestly, at times like this, it makes me question whether or not it's healthy for schools to have sport programs like this.

and what's worse, the politico corruption tied into the whole FOOTBALL YAY propoganda.

I have no idea what Al Jazeera is, but if Andy is suggesting it, they probably have some political leaning that I would find hostile.
It's exactly, in my opinion, what the name sounds like.

I told you before that I tried to watch it several times, but in my opinion in certain areas it's slanted, even more than the other networks.

I enjoy America Tonight and John Siegenthaler's newscast. I also like Ali Velshi's show, Libby Casey :growl: and the international simulcast. Been waiting for a network like this for a decade - shame it was the Arabs who delivered it.

I'd watch BBC World News, Sky News or CNN International if we got it. We don't. Fact is, Fox "News", CNN and MSNBC suck.

I've enjoyed BBC world news for years whenever I was in an area where I was able to get it. In My Opinion they are the least opinionated/biased news readers on the planet because that's what they are, news readers, with no agenda and the driest news shows on earth. It's a shame news readers no longer exist in the states.

America Tonight running another report on this.

Good, the more exposure this gets, the better the chances of this case getting a shot before a Grand Jury. I don't care who you are, but Football should never take priority over something like this. Also, it's rather pathetic that the entire town decided to turn on the victim to protect their precious football players. Honestly, the school should lose it's football team....forever, because it's obvious that the entire town can't handle sports.

The prosecutor should have recused himself immediately due to the connection to one of the players.
Society needs to take a hard look at itself. Is it more important to wave a "We're #1" foam finger and let a athlete get away with a crime? Or make those who do crimes responsible for their actions?

Things like this is why we have riots after NFL games. Somebody should shut that team out for a season. Or shut it down. I like the forever idea.

Honestly, I think shutting down the football team should've happened in Steubenville and Penn University with the pedophile coach.

It's a sad culture some of those podunk HS football rah-rah communities have. I'll never understand it.

What we really need to learn from this is that fotball playars get in truble more than nascar

You only have to look at the NFL to know that. Compared to the NFL, NASCAR drivers and teammates look like saints.

Fox News (paraphrased): I'm not saying she deserved to be raped but... (goodness always follows the "but)

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/10/...n-im-not-saying-she-deserved-to-be-raped-but/

Hmmm....let's see, we got "She deserved to get raped", "She lied about being rape" and "She consented...despite being a minor and intoxicated."

While the lawyer is a scumbag, Fox News did inadvertently raise a good point. Too many times in rape cases, the victim is blamed and they use such excuse as "Well if she wasn't dressed that way..." or "She secretly wanted it." etc. This is why there is an epidemic of people under reporting rape and assault because of stupid bull**** like this. This applies to both male and female rape victims BTW.

To be fair, Shep Smith did challenge that a**hole's statements. Shep's one of the few people over there with a brain. Anyone else on that channel and CNN for that matter would have sat there and nodded their head in total agreement.

If Shep had a brain he wouldn't be there....just sayin'
