Jeff Gluck reporting Steve Arpin will drive the #7 Chevrolet at Talladega for JR Motorsports.

Steve must be on cloud nine right now, this news comes just days after his win in Sunday's ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards event at Salem Speedway.

Yes, he's raced at both Daytona and Talladega in the ARCA Racing Series and thus either has been or will be cleared by NASCAR to compete. He's also going to run Friday's ARCA race at Talladega. If he doesn't get killed in that (if you haven't noticed, I HATE the ARCA restrictor plate races -- friggin' deathtraps), he'll be racing next Saturday.
