The Roanoke Times reported:

After spectulation that he would loose his ride at Dale Earnhardt Inc., it appears that Steve Park will remain with his team. Park said that talks with Ty Norris, executive vice president at DEI, have gone well.

I haven't seen a formal announcement on this but it is sounding better all the time.

I say sign the contract and go racing.

yeah, I hear you, please, please, please don't let him drive for Bill Davis.
 
i had heard something on Jayski that there might be a two team swap between Bill Davis and DEI

DEI would sign Park and then "trade" him to Bill Davis for Kenny Wallace
